Brook Side Restorations has been in operation for the last 16 years full time, part time for 12 years, but it has been building for at least 30 years.

It all started when I was in my early teen's...my dad and I would sit at the kitchen table and build plastic model cars, painting and detailing to look as good as the ones on their box's. At one point I probably had over 130 finished models built...What to do?  Some got blown up with fire crackers...others given away. Anyway once out of school I went on to become a certified stick welder thru night school and worked in a local body shop as a body tech & painter.  The Late 70's the Custom Van Craze hit and I got involved with building van conversions, interior and exterior mods.  It seemed that I always went back to auto body work.  Welding was ok but was on the road a lot.  It did help with my nice rides ~ 1977 Chevrolet Van completely converted ~ 1979 Ford Bronco (wheels, side pipes, stereo) and a 1979 Pontiac Trans AM (a wreck that I rebuilt).

Marriage came along and a family entered into the picture....So now the auto body work was used to support my family.

Seven years ago the Body shop that I was managing closed its doors...that was it! I needed security...So It was time to go on my own! I have always liked taking something ratty and turning it into a SHINNY Gem!  You have to look past the rust and failing paint and see these cars and trucks for what they are.

Some time's it takes weeks ~ months or even years.  I'm to a point now that lets me work on some of the old and different vehicles. And I love a challenge. Sheet metal work is like making a puzzle, fitting the pieces as you go. The paint work is the easy part.

I am located in the hills of New Hampshire on a dirt road, next to a brook that flows year round. No distractions other then mother nature.  There are always 3 or 4 projects going on, some long term , some short. Some light collision work and insurance jobs come and go.  We have met some nice people and friends I guess there is a common bond.

Brookside can take any car or truck and turn it into something presentable and fun to drive.  Because its all about having fun and turning heads.

While I do not specialize in mechanical repairs, we can take anything apart, clean it, paint it and put it all back together again, so it looks new and fresh.  Frame off restorations, fender benders, complete body and paint, sand blasting and sheet metal work...all are included the process.

I feel that anything can be done given enough time and money. Money a yes...it's all about money...Remember not only is this for but I still have a family to support...my rates are reasonable and are lower than the average.  Most jobs based on labor plus materials. While I am a one man shop working days, nights and weekends.  We're close to getting another me...Soon, I hope, the work load is building.

I, we, also would like to grow as business progresses. As the building currently gets filled with projects, we have expanded twice. I foresee the addition of a spray booth and an assembly area with in the next couple of years.  While the shop works for me... the state has other idea's...E. P. A. rules are getting strict and the cost of doing business is getting tough. The work is fun and no one can take that away from me.

Thank you for checking out our web site...as projects come and go I will try to keep the pictures up to date....If there are any question please call 603.542.0215.
